The 2009 season is the first for Josh Cittadino as an assistant coach on the Cortland men’s lacrosse staff. Cittadino was a three-year member of the Red Dragons after transferring from Eastern Connecticut St. and played in three NCAA Division III title games, including Cortland’s national championship season in 2006.
As a senior, Cittadino earned first team All-America honors and was named the Division III national Specialist of the Year as well as a first team all-region, all-state and all-conference selection and the SUNYAC Tournament MVP. For his career, he scored 55 points on 32 goals and 23 assists, collected 293 ground balls and won 476-of-752 (63.3 percent) faceoffs.
