    Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach
The 2012 season is the second for Mike Bocklet as an assistant coach on the Cortland men’s lacrosse staff. Prior to Cortland, Bocklet was an assistant coach for the boys’ varsity lacrosse program at John Jay-Cross River High School in 2010, helping guide the team to a sectional title.

Bocklet, a 2007 graduate of Fairfield University with a bachelor’s degree in communications, started four seasons at attack on the Stags’ lacrosse team. He was a three-time all-league selection and earned All-New England honors twice. As a senior, Bocklet was a Tewaaraton Watchlist candidate and competed in the USILA North-South game. The Long Island Lizards of Major League Lacrosse selected Bocklet in the 2008 supplemental draft.

Bocklet graduated from John Jay-Cross River in 2003, where he competed in lacrosse, football and basketball, earning All-America honors in lacrosse as a senior.
