Jamie Neuner (Brewster) and junior centerfielder
Annemarie Nelson (Nassau/Columbia) have been named to the 2007 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III Softball All-America team. Neuner was selected to the All-America first team, while Nelson was a second-team honoree.

Katie Finch (Amsterdam/Broadalbin-Perth) joined Neuner and Nelson on the NFCA All-Northeast Region first team. In addition, junior designated player
Shara Evanter (Commack) was a second-team all-region choice and senior pitcher
Ang D'Amboise (Ballston Lake/Shenendehowa) was named to the all-region third team.
In addition, Neuner was chosen as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Upstate New York Player of the Year, and was joined on the All-ECAC team by Nelson and Evanter.
Neuner batted a team-high .438 this spring with three homers, six triples, 11 doubles, 28 runs batted in and 52 runs scored. She led the Red Dragons with 22 stolen bases, in 23 attempts, and became the school's career leader with 49 steals in just three seasons. She also posted a .973 fielding percentage, committing only four errors in 149 fielding chances in 48 games at shortstop.
Nelson hit .396 and led Cortland with 11 home runs and 42 RBI in 48 games. She stole five bases and did not make an error in 48 total fielding opportunities.
Finch finished 19-7 with a 1.87 earned run average in 28 appearances, 22 as a starter. She set a new school single-season record with 182 strikeouts while allowing only 96 hits and 27 walks in 146 innings pitched.
Evanter ended the season wth a .331 batting average in 48 games. She was second on the team with seven homers and 35 RBI and also recorded eight doubles.
D'Amboise posted an 18-3 record with a 2.37 ERA in 31 appearances, including 26 starts. She struck out 180 batters, two shy of Finch's record but eight better than her own previous school record of 172. D'Amboise finished second at Cortland in career winning percentage (.821, 46-10), third in career strikeouts (443) and fifth in career wins (46).
Cortland finished the season 38-10 and tied for ninth nationally in the NCAA Division III tournament. The Red Dragons won both the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) regular-season (20-0) and postseason titles and finished second at the NCAA Division III regional that they hosted.
