Trivisonno Named to All-New York Region Team

SUNY Cortland junior forward Katie Trivisonno (Apalachin/Owego Free Academy) has been chosen to the 2007 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III women's soccer All-New York Region third team. The award is Trivisonno's second all-region honor in three years – she was also a third-team selection as a freshman in 2005.

Trivisonno was Cortland's leading scorer this fall with seven goals and six assists for 20 points. She also shared the team lead with two game-winning goals. Through three seasons, Trivisonno has recorded career totals of 27 goals and 16 assists for 70 points. She ranks 12th at Cortland in career points and tied for 12th in career goals.

Cortland finished the season with a 12-6-2 overall record, including a second-place record of 8-1-2 in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC). The Red Dragons went 9-1-1 over their final 11 games and advanced to the championship game of the SUNYAC postseason tournament for the third time in four years.
