SUNY Cortland junior goalie Pam Monnier (East Northport/Northport) has been selected as the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 25.

Monnier helped Cortland earn a win and a tie in two SUNYAC road games during the final weekend of league play. Those outcomes allowed Cortland to clinch a berth in the conference postseason tournament. She made two saves in a 2-1 victory at Oneonta – Cortland's first win over Oneonta since 1995. She then recorded her sixth shutout of the season on Saturday with a three-save effort in a 0-0 double overtime tie at New Paltz.

For the season, Monnier has a 10-4-2 record with an .823 save percentage and a 0.69 goals against average.
