The SUNY Cortland women’s soccer team will be holding its spring clinic on Sunday, Mar. 21, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Lusk Field House on campus. The clinic, conducted by Cortland head coach Heidi Woodcock, her staff and the Cortland players, is open to players of high school age, and high school seniors are welcome.
The cost of the clinic is $50 per player, and those who register by Mar. 8 will receive a free Nike soccer reversible. The clinic will focus on speed training, basic strength training and ball footwork in the morning, while the afternoon features many small-sided 4-versus-4 games to emphasize successful touches, speed of play and quick decision making.
