SUNY Cortland senior attacker Danielle Torre (Massapequa) has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for the week ending March 29.

Torre recorded nine goals and four assists in two games for the Red Dragons last week. She scored three goals and assisted on another in a 12-11 loss last Tuesday at defending national champion Hamilton College. On Saturday, she set career highs with six goals and nine total points (six goals, three assists) in a 13-12 loss at Ithaca College.

Torre leads the nationally 14th-ranked Red Dragons with 21 goals, 19 draw controls and 27 total points through six games.
