CORTLAND, N.Y. – Brockport registered a school-record score in its 190.05-186.70 dual-meet victory over host Cortland. Despite the loss, the Red Dragons recorded a season-best score and the ninth-best team score in school history.

Brockport’s Lauren Gildemeyer (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) won the all-around with a score of 38.275. She was also first on both vault (9.70) and floor exercise (9.85), tied for fourth on balance beam (9.375) and tied for fifth on uneven bars (9.35).

Elizabeth Levy (Glen Allen, VA/Hermitage) and Christina Baggetta (Latham/Shaker) tied for first on uneven bars for the Golden Eagles, each with a 9.60. Colleen Chahbazi (Flushing, MI) won balance beam with a 9.45. Levy finished second in the all-around with a 38.10.

Cortland senior Jenn Najuch (North Tonawanda) finished second on floor exercise with a career-high 9.75 and tied for second on vault with a 9.60. Freshman Amanda Recor (Lancaster) finshed second on balance beam with a career-best 9.425 and senior Chris Cate (Concord, NH) tied for second on vault with a 9.60.

Senior Christine Haungs (Derby/Lake Shore) set a career-high on floor exercise with a 9.725 to tie for third place. She also finished fourth on vault (9.50). Junior Kasey Cutler (East Hampton, CT) placed fourth on uneven bars (9.375), freshman Sarah Nadrowski (Buffalo/Kenmore East) tied for fifth on vault (career-high 9.475) and sophomore Cristina Speirs (Plainview/Plainview-Old Bethpage) finished sixth on balance beam (9.35).

Cortland’s five seniors – Cate, Haungs, Najuch, Alyssa Neely (Allentown, PA/Parkland) and Jessica Ruocco (Bayside/The Mary Louis Academy) – were honored prior to their final home meet.
