The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has recognized 92 SUNY Cortland fall sports student-athletes on its All-Academic and Commissioner's List teams for the 2009 season.

Athletes earn a spot on the All-Academic LIst by recording at least a 3.3 grade point average during the most recent semester and are chosen to the Commissioner's List if they have at least a cumulative 3.3 grade point average over the past three semesters combined.

The 92 Cortland selections include 23 football players and 17 field hockey players, along with eight athletes each from men's cross country, men's soccer and women's volleyball, and seven each from women's cross country, women's soccer, women's golf and women's tennis.
