Cortland senior swimmer
Taylor Houseman (Rushford/Wellsville) has been selected to the 2010 ESPN the Magazine College Division District I All-Academic At-Large third team.
The team is chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The at-large team covers 13 women's sports, while CoSIDA's District I includes Division II and III schools from New York and New England.
Houseman, a physical education major, had a 3.51 grade point average entering the 2010 spring semester. She was a first-team All-American in two events at the 2010 NCAA Div. III Women's Swimming and Diving Championships with seventh-place finishes in both the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard breaststroke. She holds the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) and school records in the 200-yard breaststroke and the school record in the 100-yard breaststroke.
