Dan Pitcher (Cortland) was named the NJAC Offensive Player of the Week, freshman wide receiver
Kordel McInnis (Washington Township, NJ) was the NJAC Offensive Rookie of the Week and junior
Pete Furey (Niskayuna) earned NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
Pitcher earned Offensive Player of the Week recognition for the third straight week and the fourth time overall this season. He was named the ECAC Southeast Bowl Most Outstanding Player after completing 20-of-35 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns.
McInnis led the Red Dragons with six catches for 61 yards and a touchdown. He turned a wide receiver screen pass into a 29-yard touchdown to give Cortland an 8-0 lead in the first quarter.
Furey averaged 36.2 yards per punt on five kicks, including a pair of 50-yard punts. He pinned Albright inside the 20-yard line once, and two of his punts were downed exactly on the 20-yard line.
Cortland finished the season with a 9-2 record and won an ECAC bowl game for the sixth time in school history.
