CORTLAND, N.Y. – The 20th-ranked Cortland wrestling team earned four forfeits and won the other six bouts en route to a 45-0 win versus Oswego Wednesday night at Corey Gymnasium. The Red Dragons improved to 14-4-1 with the win, while the Lakers fell to 5-8.

Aljamain Sterling (Huntington) recorded a 16-4 major decision at 141 pounds to raise his record to 21-3.
The Lakers forfeited at 149 pounds, and Cortland sophomore

Jonathan Conroy (South Plainfield, NJ) held off a late flurry by Oswego senior Marc Collins (Farmington/Victor) and came away with an 8-7 win by earning a point on riding time. Conroy upped his record to 24-5 with the narrow win.
