CORTLAND, N.Y. – Freshman Elise Konikoff (Hamburg) won vault and balance beam, senior Cady Tinney (Nichols/Tioga Central) won uneven bars and sophomore Courtney Mangini (Dix Hills/Commack) took top honors on both floor exercise and the all-around as Cortland defeated visiting Wilson College, 187.475-158.725, in a dual meet.

Konikoff scored a 9.70 on vault and a 9.575 on balance beam. Tinney posted a new career high with her winning score of 9.70 on uneven bars. Mangini recorded a 9.80 on floor exercise and a 37.475 in the all-around. Mangini also finished third on balance beam (9.0), tied for third on vault (9.525) and tied for fourth on uneven bars (9.15).

Junior Sarah Nadrowski (Buffalo/Kenmore East) finished a very close second behind Mangini in the all-around with a 37.425. She also was second on balance beam (9.30), third on floor exercise (9.675) and tied for third with Mangini on vault (9.525).

Junior Amanda Recor (Lancaster) placed second on vault (9.625) and fourth on floor exercise (9.55), and she tied for fourth on balance beam (8.65). Freshman Meagan Phelan (River Vale, NJ/Pascack Regional) was second on uneven bars with a career-high 9.525, sophomore Stephanie Sladky (East Islip) finished second on floor exercise with a career-high tying 9.775 and freshman Becky Metz (Pendleton/Starpoint) was third on uneven bars with a career-high 9.325.

Wilson's Alexandre Howard tied for fourth on uneven bars with a 9.15 and on balance beam with an 8.65. She also posted a third-place all-around score of 36.125 for the Phoenix, who have only five gymnasts on their roster.

Cortland will host Brockport on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. The date of that meet will be moved to Feb. 26 if Cortland is hosting the SUNYAC men's and/or women's basketball tournament championship games on the 25th.
