Cortland junior goalie Mike Kaminski (Sayville) has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Men's Lacrosse Goalie of the Week for the week ending March 11.

Kaminski helped lead Cortland to an 11-4 win against nationally 14th-ranked Gettysburg at the fourth annual North-South Oyster Bay Challenge in Massapequa this past Saturday. Kaminski recorded nine saves and five ground balls while only allowing four goals in 58 minutes, 20 seconds.

For the season, Kaminski has a 3-0 record with a .683 save percentage and a 4.37 goals against average.

The Red Dragons, ranked third nationally, have opened the season with three straight victories. Cortland will host ninth-ranked Stevenson College (Md.) Saturday, March 17, at 3 p.m.
