Cortland sophomore attack Cody Consul (Webster/Webster Schroeder) has been chosen as the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week for the week ending March 18.

Consul scored a career-high six points on three goals and three assists to help lead nationally third-ranked Cortland (4-0) to a 13-9 win versus ninth-ranked Stevenson University Saturday in Cortland. Entering the game, Stevenson had allowed no more than six goals in a game over its first six contests.

Consul is tied for the team lead with seven goals and is second with 12 points through four games. The Red Dragons face Middlebury College on Tuesday, March 20, at 6 p.m. at The University at Albany.
