Cortland senior attack Greg Wright (Irondequoit/West Irondequoit) and junior goalie Mike Kaminski (Sayville) has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Men's Lacrosse Player and Goalie of the Week, respectively, for the week ending April 1. Wright and Kaminski helped lead nationally second-ranked Cortland (8-0, 1-0 SUNYAC) to a pair of wins last week.

In an 8-7 victory at fourth-ranked RIT on Wednesday, Wright had two goals and two assists, including the assist on what proved to be the game-winning goal. Kaminski stopped 12 shots and recorded three ground balls.

In Saturday's 14-3 home win versus Plattsburgh, Wright recorded two goals and two assists and Kaminski made eight saves and allowed just one goal in 35:24 of playing time.

For the season, Wright leads Cortland in scoring with 26 points on 12 goals and a team-high 14 assists and Kaminski has a 4.80 goals against average and a .698 save percentage.
