CORTLAND, N.Y. – Senior Sarah Nadrowski (Buffalo/Kenmore East) set a new school record in the all-around to help Cortland defeat visiting Div. II Southern Connecticut St., 189.15-187.375, in a women's gymnastics dual meet. Cortland's score is the second-best in team history behind only a 190.00 scored at the 2011 ECAC Championships.

Nadrowski's all-around score of 38.75 eclipsed the previous school record of 38.575 set by Lindsey Marranca in 2004. Nadrowski won vault with a 9.725, uneven bars with a career-best 9.675 and floor exercise with a 9.80, and placed fourth on balance beam with a 9.55.

Senior Amanda Recor (Lancaster) finished second on vault with a 9.70, followed by freshman Meghan Goyden (Endwell/Maine-Endwell) in third with a 9.575. Junior Courtney Mangini (Commack) finished second on floor with a 9.775), Recor was fourth with a career-high tying 9.725 and Goyden placed fifth with a career-best 9.70. Mangini finished third in the all-around with a 36.625.

Freshman Emily Nagy (Merrimack, NH) was Cortland's top finisher on beam with a career-best 9.575, followed by Nadrowski in fourth and senior Annelise Hoffman (Pine Plains/Stissing Mountain) in fifth (9.175).

For Southern Connecticut, Brianna Ecklof won balance beam with a 9.65. Meghan Cole was second on beam (9.60) and in the all-around (37.925) and Gabriella Hude finished second on bars (9.55).

Cortland will compete next Saturday, Feb. 23, at Brockport at 1 p.m. The meet will also feature Ithaca and Wilson.
