SUNY Cortland senior sprinter Eric Banks (Westbury) has been named the Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week by the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) for the week ending Feb. 3.

Banks finished first out of 61 competitors in the 200-meter dash at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational. His time of 22.66 seconds is an ECAC Div. III Championship qualifier. Banks also finished sixth of 46 in the 60-meter dash (7.30) and he led off the 4x400-meter relay that placed second out of 20 entries with an ECAC-qualifying time of 3:25.35.

The Red Dragons will next compete at both the Boston University Valentine Invitational and at the Cornell University Deneault Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 9.
