Elise Konikoff (Hamburg) tied for first on balance beam, sophomore
Michaela Stumpf (Williamsville/Williamsville South) placed second on vault and junior
Maddy Scozzie (Ashburn, VA/Broad Run) finished second on uneven bars during Cortland's 191.05-186.375 dual-meet loss at Brockport.
Konikoff posted a score of 9.70 on balance beam to finish tied with Brockport's Lily Jagodzinski. Stumpf recorded a career-best 9.575 on vault to place second behind the Golden Eagles' Olivia Sylvestro (9.65), while Scozzie registered a 9.525 on bars and finished behind only Brockport's Stephanie Schuler (9.60).
Also for the Red Dragons, sophomore
Amanda Scanlon (Glastonbury, CT) finished third on balance beam with a season-best score of 9.675. She was also the meet's lone all-around competitor with a 36.30. Freshman
Bailey Gildemeyer (Liverpool/Cicero-North Syracuse) tied for fourth on floor exercise with a career-best 9.70. Junior
Meghan Goyden (Endwell/Maine-Endwell) tied for sixth on vault (9.375) and freshman
Arianna Turso (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial) tied for sixth on uneven bars (9.25).
Lexi King won floor exercise with a 9.825 and Amanda Carney was second with a 9.80 for Brockport, which set a new school record with its final team score. Schuler was third on vault (9.55) and Jagodzinski finished third on floor (9.725).
Cortland returns to Brockport next Sunday, March 1, for a 1 p.m. meet with the Golden Eagles, Ithaca College and Rhode Island College.
