Jessica Walker Frost enjoyed one of the best careers in Cortland women's volleyball history. A first team All-American three times, she helped the Red Dragons advance to four NCAA tournaments, including three national quarterfinals.
* A native of Fulton, N.Y., she earned a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education from Cortland in 1999 and a Master of Arts in reading from Oswego State in 2002.
* Four-year left-side hitter on Cortland's women's volleyball team (1995-98). Team captain as both a junior and a senior.
* First team All-American in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. One of only two Division III players from a New York college to be honored as a three-time first team All-American.
* Four-time first team all-region, first team All-SUNYAC, and SUNYAC all-tournament team selection, and a first team all-state award winner as a junior.
* Team posted a four-year combined record of 154-25. The program won three SUNYAC titles and played in four NCAA Division III tournaments. Red Dragons advanced to the national quarterfinal round in 1996 (42-5), 1997 (41-6) and 1998 (39-3) to finish tied for fifth nationally in those seasons.
* Three-time GTE Academic All-District honoree.
* Cortland's Female Senior Athlete of the Year and the volleyball team's Red Letter Award winner after her senior season.
* Graduated as Cortland's career leader with 1,739 kills (currently ranks third in that category). Ranks second at Cortland with 1,929 digs (behind teammate Missy Burke's 1,945). Her totals include 565 kills in 1997 and 507 kills in 1996, making her the only player in school history with multiple 500-kill seasons.
* Ranks eighth at Cortland with 207 career service aces and eighth with a .305 career hitting percentage.
* Holds Cortland's single-match record with 34 kills versus Ithaca in 1997. That total is tied for 13th all-time in NCAA Division III history for a four-set match.
* Kindergarten teacher (Granby Elementary School) and varsity girls' volleyball coach in the Fulton City School District. Has taught there since 2000, and was a JV/modified coach prior to being named varsity coach in 2016.
* Community service work includes: volunteer coaching for summer volleyball camps through the Fulton YMCA; volunteering for community fundraisers for the Shamus D. Heagerty Scholarship Fund to raise awareness against drunk driving; and working with Fulton Youth Lacrosse, Soccer, Basketball and Little League.
