Dan finished first out of 20 swimmers in the 50-yard freestyle (21.54) and first out of 19 competitors in the 100-yard freestyle (47.13) at the RPI Invitational on Saturday. He also anchored the winning 400-yard freestyle relay with a leg of 47.20 seconds to help Cortland finish first at the seven-team tournament. Earlier in the week, Evans won the 100-yard freestyle (47.34) and 200-yard freestyle (1:46.64) and anchored the winning 200-yard medley relay (20.87 freestyle leg) in Cortland's 133-109 dual victory at Oswego.
