Nicolas went 2-0 during Cortland's spring break trip to Winter Haven, Florida. He allowed three hits and one run, struck out seven and did not walk a batter in six and two-third innings as Cortland defeated Thomas More, 4-3. He also struck out eight batters and walked just one in five innings and gave up two runs in a 13-4 victory over Clarkson.
