SUNY Cortland Athletics

Shamus finished 30th out of 270 runners and was the third Div. III finisher at the Lehigh University Paul Short Invitational last Friday. The SUNYAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, he covered the 8,000-meter course in 24:51. Cortland finished ninth overall and was the top Div. III school in the Brown Division race. The Red Dragons, ranked fourth in Div. III, defeated 25 Div. I schools, including UMass, Harvard and Texas Tech, along with five ranked Div. III schools.
