Sam finished in 31st place out of 224 runners at the Rowan University Inter-Region Border Battle in New Jersey. She posted a time of 22 minutes, 33.4 seconds over the DREAM Park 6,000-meter course against a strong field that included three NCAA Division III top-10 teams.
