Ryan finished sixth in the mile run at the Utica Winter Opener with a time of 4:22.14 that currently ranks first in the SUNYAC, third in the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference, and 17th nationally in Division III. His performance helped Cortland finish first out of 16 schools at the meet.
