Dan earned honorable mention All-America honors with his ninth-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle and 15th-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle at the NCAA Div. III Swimming and Diving Championships. He set new SUNYAC and school records with his time of 44.98 seconds to win the 100-yard freestyle consolation finals. He also broke a school record with his 22nd-place time of 50.52 seconds in the 100-yard butterfly. Cortland finished 43rd in the final team standings.
