JJ broke the Empire 8 and Cortland single-game records with 312 receiving yards in a 48-28 win over visiting Wittenberg. The previous Empire 8 record was 311 yards, and the prior school record was 267 yards set by Frank Burm in 1982. Laap finished with nine catches, including 90-yard and 49-yard touchdowns along with catches of 51, 44, 35 and 20 yards.
