Kayla helped lead 21st-ranked Cortland to its first two wins of the season, scoring seven points on three goals and an assist in the two victories. In a 4-1 home win versus UMass Boston on Friday, Valerioti assisted on the game-winning goal in the 65th minute and added insurance goals in the 73rd and 76th minutes. She then netted Cortland's fifth goal in the 57th minute in a 6-2 home victory versus Westfield St. on Saturday.
