J.C. won his third straight NCAA Mideast title and earned his third straight berth into the NCAA Division III Championships. After winning 133-pound titles the last two years, he won the 125-pound crown this year with a 4-0 record, including a tech fall and a major decision, along with a 9-3 victory in the finals.
