Matt recorded two goals and an assist as Cortland opened the season with a pair of home victories. He scored the game's first goal in a 2-1 win over Rochester on Friday, and two days later he assisted on the first goal and scored the second goal, both in the final 11 minutes, in a 2-0 victory versus St. Lawrence.
