Dave earned his third trip to the NCAA Div. III Wrestling Championships by winning the 125-pound weight class at the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference Championships. Despite missing much of the season due to injury, he entered the tournament as the top seed. He pinned his first two opponents, then won 3-1 in sudden-victory overtime in the championship match.
