Amber was named the SUNYAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week after she tied an 18-year-old school record in the triple jump at the Cornell Big Red Invitational. She finished fourth overall and was the top Div. III performer with her ECAC-qualifying distance of 11.54 meters (37 feet, 10.5 inches). Stephens also placed 20th in the long jump (4.98 meters - 16 feet, 4.25 inches).
