Amaan earned SUNYAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honors and ECAC Division III Track Athlete of the Week recognition after winning both the 200-meter dash and 55-meter dash at the Syracuse University Invitational. He broke his own school record and set a new SUNYAC mark with his 200-meter time of 21.96 seconds. His 55-meter dash time of 6.38 seconds is an NCAA provisional qualifier, although he has already automatically qualified for nationals in that event.
