Emily won the SUNYAC Women's Cross Country individual title at the championship race in Brocton, N.Y., She finished first out of 130 runners in 23:24.72 over 6,000 meters, about a second ahead of the runner-up. With her victory, Cotey earned first team All-SUNYAC honors and induction into the SUNYAC Women's Cross Country Hall of Fame.
