Brett earned two individual and one relay title, along with three other top-three finishes, at the SUNYAC Men's Swimming and Diving Championships in Buffalo. He won the 100-yard breaststroke (58.14) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:07.85), both with NCAA Div. III Championship provisional qualifying times. The 100-yard breaststroke crown was his second in three years. He was also part of the winning 200-yard medley relay and runner-up 400-yard medley and 800-yard freestyle relays, and he finished third in the 200-yard individual medley (1:58.91).
