Bobby finished third nationally and earned All-America honors at 149 pounds at the NCAA Div. III Wrestling Championships. Seeded fifth entering the tournament, Dierna won his first three matches before losing to the top seed in the semifinals. He won his final two matches to place third and completed the season with a 35-3 record.
