Amber was chosen as the MVP of the SUNYAC Softball Tournament after posting a 4-0 record and 0.70 ERA to lead Cortland to the league title. She allowed one run and struck out eight in 13 innings in a 2-1 win over Plattsburgh Friday. The following day, she gave up only one hit and one run in nine innings in another 2-1 victory over the Cardinals. In 30 innings pitched, she gave up only 13 hits and three earned runs and struck out 20 batters. Earlier in the week, she threw a four-hit shutout in a 1-0 win over Nazareth.
