Emily earned SUNYAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors and was named ECAC Div. III Upstate Women's Co-Runner of the Week after finishing first in a field of 84 runners at Cortland's Jack Daniels Invitational. She ran the 4,000-meter race in 14:43.4, about seven seconds ahead of the runner-up, an unattached entry, and 12 seconds ahead of the collegiate runner-up. Cortland, ranked 34th nationally, won the team title. Cotey has won two of the three races she's competed in this fall.
