McClain was chosen as the SUNYAC Baseball Player of the Week after posting a 2-0 record with no runs allowed in 12 and a third innings. He threw a complete-game three-hit shutout with six strikeouts and two walks in a seven-inning 4-0 win over Plattsburgh Monday. On Sunday, he allowed four hits and a walk and struck out three in five and a third innings in an 8-0 win over Brockport.
