Nick was named the SUNYAC Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week after helping Cortland win two home SUNYAC games. He scored twice in a 4-2 win over nationally 13th-ranked Geneseo, including the game-winning goal early in the third period and an empty-net insurance goal with 52 seconds remaining. In a 5-4 win over Brockport, Zappia tallied Cortland's first goal 32 seconds into the game and assisted on a goal.
