Jerel ran the opening leg on Cortland's winning 4x200-meter relay team that set a new school record (1:28.35) at the ECAC Div. III Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships. He also finished third in the 400-meter dash with an indoor personal-best time of 49.27 seconds. Cortland tied for second place out of 56 schools that scored points at the meet.
