Jon caught the winning 29-yard "Hail Mary" touchdown pass on the game's final play to give Cortland a 26-24 victory over visiting Heidelberg University. He outjumped a defender in the end zone to make the grab with the Red Dragons trailing 24-20. Mannix's catch was chosen as the D3football.com National Play of the Week.
