SUNY Cortland Athletics

What does it mean to be named the SUNY Cortland Female Athlete of the Week?
It is a great honor. There are a lot of talented girls here and it is nice to know that I represent the school well.

What are your individual goals for the season?
First off, I'd like to improve on other events, besides vault, to help my team. Second off, I'd like to place at nationals on vault.

What is a goal that the team has this year?
We want to improve each meet, continue to support each other like we have been and compete for a national title.

Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
I can't say I have just one, but it is a combination of my parents, teammates and coaches. They are the reason that I've made it as far as I already have.

What is your favorite part about being a Cortland athlete?
I love the team encouragement, it isn't about one person. All of the girls want to see everyone do well just as much as they'd like to do well themselves. I also love the support from the school, one of my favorite things is that President Bitterbaum knows my name and recognizes me.
