Mitch earned SUNYAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week honors after his performance at the Cornell University Kane Invitational. He placed third of 19 in the weight throw with an ECAC-qualifying distance of 15.56 meters (51' 0.75") and was ffith of 20 in the shot put at 13.79 meters (45' 3").
