Zach helped lead the Red Dragons to a pair of home non-conference wins, totaling 16 points on 11 goals and five assists. In a 14-9 victory versus Morrisville St., Hopps tallied a game-high seven points on four goals and three assists. He followed up with career highs of nine points and seven goals, adding two assists, in a 16-14 win versus seventh-ranked Cabrini. He earned SUNYAC and ECAC weekly honors for his efforts.
