Alexandrea was named the SUNYAC Softball Tournament MVP after posting a 3-0 record and helping the Red Dragons repeat as league champion. She did not allow a run in 13 and two thirds innings. Flint opened the tourney with a two-hit shutout in a five-inning win over Buffalo State. She won in relief in a 9-7 victory over Oneonta, then threw a four-hit shutout in a 1-0 win over Geneseo in the winner's bracket final.
