Nick won the national title in the high jump at the NCAA Div. III Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He was one of two competitors to clear 2.10 meters (6' 10.75"), and earned the title by virtue of accomplishing the feat on his first attempt compared to the second try by his opponent. Vachon won Cortland's 14th men's track and field individual national title and the College's 102nd individual national crown across all sports.
