Mitch won the weight throw with a school-record distance of 18.38 meters (60' 3.75") at the ECAC Division III Championships. He also finished in fifth place in the shot put at 15.62 meters (51' 3") to earn All-ECAC honors in both events. Couch's performance helped Cortland finish fourth in the final team standings.
