Bobby won his second straight NCAA Division III Wrestling title with four victories at the national championship tournament in La Crosse, Wis. He opened with a 23-5 technical fall, followed by two pins, and he defeated Logan Thomsen of national champion Wartburg, 8-7, in the finals. Dierna is the first two-time national champion and third four-time All-American in program history. He finished the season with a 21-0 record, and he concluded his career with a 106-9 mark. He tied for seventh at Cortland in career wins and finished second with 47 career falls.
