Jack won the national title in the heptathlon at the NCAA Division III Men’s Indoor Track and Field Championships in Naperville, Ill. His winning score of 5,247 points broke his own school and SUNYAC records, and is the fifth-best ever nationally in the event at the Division III level. Flood defeated Andrew Bartnett of Johns Hopkins by just nine points, with teammate Connor Christopherson third (5,181). Flood was third entering the final event, but finished fast enough in the 1,000 meters to score the points needed to earn the title and his second straight All-America honor (third place last year).
